Welcome to the teachings of Nrtta Sadhana, the Pure Dance of Shiva.
Nrtta Sadhana is a way of accomplishment through the body’s limbs in action. It is here that the aspirant rediscovers the rhythmic life currents hidden within the body by means of unimposed natural positioning. This is termed Karana (cause). The Nrtta teachings comprise four forms.
In this short course, Emma Balnaves, co-founder of Shadow Yoga, will present the Ananda Tandava – Dance of Bliss or Dissolvement – as the whole purpose of yoga is to dissolve oneself into the self. The path of Yoga has nothing to do with the outward flowing of life into matter but is inwards, away from matter and its ongoing transmutation; and leads, finally, to its death.
The course is in three parts:
This course is fully instructional and commences with an introductory lecture. It is available via an annual subscription and is suitable for all yoga practitioners – including beginners.
